In Onistone we care about the environment and we invite you to use a product that does not contribute to air, land or water pollution; not only because of the product itself but because of the whole process followed to manufacture it.

Concrete tiles are manufactured efficiently and cut from big slabs that are naturally cured. This allows us to have the lowest energy-input over area-output ratio in the industry. During the manufacturing process there is no emission of any greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.

The pigments and all the ingredients we use are completely natural and are free from lead and other heavy metals as well. The manufacturing process does not represent any health threat to our employees and once finished, the product is completely innocuous through its lifecycle.

In the process we use a minimum of 20% of recycled materials and our goal is to keep increasing that ratio in the next years. Our tiles are wet-calibrated while the mix is still fresh, thus reducing waist to the minimum expression and contrary to a post-cured mechanical calibration which uses water and produces undesired amounts of residues.

Our commitment to the environment reaches to our marketing efforts as we do not print brochures, flyers or product catalogues massively. Paper, at the end, can not reflect at all the texture of our products and even tend to distort its colors. We prefer electronic means to keep our customers informed and small sample chips to introduce our tiles to potential buyers.
